These past five months at EuroDev have been an incredible journey—full of fun moments, valuable challenges, and plenty of learning. With a background in International Business, I had an idea of what to expect from a Business Development role, but this internship truly exceeded my expectations.
I worked in the Retail unit across five unique and exciting projects. My daily tasks included lead generation, cold calling, administrative work, client meetings, and contributing to sales strategies. While cold calling can be challenging for some, I actually really enjoyed it—it helped me build confidence and sharpen my communication skills.
One of the most exciting highlights was a business trip with our client, Buckley Fence. We visited distributors across the Netherlands for planned meetings, giving me a front-row seat to what it's like to manage warm leads and close deals. It was a truly eye-opening and rewarding experience.
Overall, I genuinely enjoyed my time at EuroDev and would highly recommend this internship. The Retail unit is the best!!! It’s an amazing opportunity to gain real-world experience in business development while working with North American companies expanding into Europe. By the end, you'll feel more confident, capable, and ready for the next step in your career.
