Eric's Story

Skills I had the chance to develop during my business development internship in the Industrial unit.

Hard skills:

• Business/Sales knowledge
• Computer knowledge (Dynamics, Excel, Teams etc.)
• Industrial/Science knowledge

Soft skills:

• Handling pressure
• Time management
• Communication

A big challenge already came early on in the project, I sent a potential client wrong information about our product. The principal ended up being extremely unhappy about it and brought to matter up to Jose and Edward. However, both of them were very understanding about the situation, talked to principal and helped settle the matter. I had a slight crisis of confidence after that, but the support that I got from EuroDev helped me overcome that.

The most fun part of the internship is hard to pick, but I would say just being with the people here. They are a very diverse group, but people here are still very close with one another. I was especially closest with my intern group, and I think 5 years down the road the adventures and fun that I had with my intern group will be what I will remember the most.
