European Tradeshows Are Getting Green Light
Trade fair associations at European and global levels are campaigning among political decision-makers for a restart of trade fairs in Europe. The German federal government and states have announced that B2B tradeshows may resume as early as June. Together with the trade fair sector, they have developed the appropriate framework conditions and measures and introduced these to the public.
European tradeshows are getting ready to open up after the summer period, for example; Anuga, Medica, Kind+Jugend, IFA Berlin, Airtech Munich, Spoga+Gafa, Aviation Forum, Formnext, and Electric & Hybrid Aerospace Technology.
Most international travelling restrictions in Europe are lifted, and more and more continents are following. However, because of the still existing and changing travel restrictions, companies secure their presence by the use of local sales representatives, distributors and business outsourcing parties.
Let's take a closer look at the guidelines of one of the biggest trade-fair organizers in Germany, the Koelnmesse. They have organized a corona proof safety guideline, which is in compliance with the German Protection Ordinance of the German State. The guidelines consist of 4 main chapters, hygiene, distancing rules, exhibitor guidelines and organisation and services. Below a small summary of each chapter:
